PS Plus June 2024

We are back with the next lineup of PlayStation games to make your June that much better. This month, we introduce 3 new games coming to PS Plus which are great for the kids, fighting fans and those who are after some nostalgia. So here are the best games PlayStation Plus can offer you for June 2024.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

The first game is a great family favourite SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake. Released in January 2023, this adventure-fighting game is based in the iconic SpongeBob universe location, Glove World Theme Park. SpongeBob and Patrick meet a mermaid fortune teller who tells them about some ‘magic bubble soap’ which will make all their dreams come true. If you have younger kids or simply love a bit of SpongeBob yourself, this game is ideal for you.

Pros: Cons:
  • Stunning graphics
  • Good story progression
  • Movement is occasionally slow

AEW Fight Forever

Next up, if you’re looking for slightly more action and fighting, AEW Fight Forever is the one for you. Released in June 2023 the game follows wrestlers who simulate the daily life of an AEW wrestler. Players can take on matches in AEW Dark and Rampage whilst facing off other major wrestling names in multiple mini-games.

Pros: Cons:
  • Good match types
  • Exciting soundtrack
  • Occasional bugs and glitching

Streets of Rage 4

And finally, the last game part of June PS Plus 2024 is Streets of Rage 4, released in April 2020. The game is an indie video game which carries the same gameplay style as previous Street of Rage games. 4 players locally fight against a wave of enemies using weapons and other item pickups. The previous edition of the game, the 3rd game, was released in March 1994, so it has been a while since we last saw this game in full glory!

Pros:  Cons:
  • Good fighting gameplay
  • Lots of characters
  • Short soundtrack
