First up is a 2015 PlayStation game perfect for anyone interested in physics and maths. Kerbal Space Program is a space flight simulator which helps improve knowledge in physics, allows students to set goals, evaluate missions, and offers a short introduction to astrodynamics. Key maths and physics skills are needed to build and launch rockets. Players help a space program of green aliens rebuild their ship and help them set off home, it’s a great game for kids who are just entering secondary school and have a passion for anything numerical.

It’s great for all ages, due to the variety of levels, the words range in difficulty, so kids, teenagers and even adults can play. Even better the game is free!

Who would have thought that Minecraft could be educational? That’s right! The iconic cuboid open-world game has an educational series called Minecraft: Education Edition. Teachers can create and plan educational lessons using Minecraft World. The game is completely dependent on the teacher's lesson plan, but by following the traditional Minecraft age target range, Minecraft Educational Edition is best for kids aged 7+.
