Overview:

There has been plenty of talk been made around the second Apple Vision Pro’s performance. Firstly, we have heard that Apple will incorporate a new M5 chipset which will help make devices more powerful, allow for smoother graphics and launch apps quicker. The NPU (neural processing unit) will also increase because the second Apple Vision Pro will offer Apple Intelligence, which is hitting ordinary iPhones in December 2024. Focussing on the shell of the headset, the design and colour aspects will all be the exact same.

We could see this model release mid 2026 with production beginning in 2025, this second release in the Vision Pro series may also have a reduction in price but won’t be considered a ‘budget’ model as it will still have all the key features of the original, just without that previous backlash pricing.

Can I use Apple Vision Pro for gaming?

In terms of gaming, we may now see an improvement of graphics when using the Vision Pro plus we could possibly see video games specifically made for use on the Vision Pro. With a sequel model on the way, we could see a headset dedicated especially to gaming, or even another budget option where video games can be played. We expect that playing video games on the headset will be challenging as it will tire out the headsets performance and battery. But we hope when production begins the gaming industry will be considered when the new tech is created.
