Who is the Xbox Adaptive Controller for?
And the final big reveal we uncovered, was the new accessible controller for Xbox. Late last year PlayStation released their accessible controller, so it’s no surprise we are finally seeing Xbox’s adaptation. In 2025, Xbox will release an adaptive joystick which will improve gaming and mobility for those who aren’t as capable. It has been designed to allow gamers to play using one hand and will sit on top of the controller offering 6 different designs depending on how the player wants their joystick to be customised. It is believed the controller designs will be downloaded and then 3D printed to add onto the controller, making it customisable for the controller.
